TRAIL & FRUITVALE BC CANADA DAY
You’re Invited to the Canada Day Celebrations, Friday July 1st
Join the fun for the Canada Day celebrations on Friday, July 1, 2016! Event hosts, the Trail Kiwanis Club, have joined together with Trail and Fruitvale to offer one event at Kiwanis Beaver Creek Park from 8am-3pm. A fabulous fireworks display, presented by the Kootenay Boundary Fire & Rescue, will follow at dusk at Gyro Park in Trail.
Kiwanis Beaver Creek Activities
- Community group displays: 10am to 3pm.
- Face painting, children’s games, scavenger hunt: starting at 10am.
- Entertainment provided by North of 60.
- Opening Ceremonies, singing of “O Canada” and FREE birthday cake at noon.
- Kiwanis concession open for pancake & sausage breakfast 8am to 10:30am, and hamburger / hotdog lunch 11am to 3pm.
Free Wheelchair Accessible Bus Service to and from Kiwanis Beaver Creek Park
Departure: from Pine Avenue and Farwell Street (downtown Trail) at 9am, 11am, 12:30pm, and 2pm
Pick-up/Drop-off Stops: at 7th and McBride (Shavers Bench), Highway Drive (City Works Yard), and Old Waneta Road (in front of Maglio’s)
Return to Trail: leave from the park approx 10:30am, noon, 1:30pm & 3pm.

- Fireworks at dusk
Bring your sunscreen, umbrellas and lawn chairs. Dogs are not permitted in Kiwanis Beaver Creek Park.
