A slide has hit and closed Highway 3, 10kl west of Creston and a slide hit Highway 31 north of Balfour near Coffee Creek Bluffs. Another small mud slide hit and covered parts of the highway close to Ainsworth on Highway 31 as well as a mud slide hit the highway near Kimberley.  Both smaller slides have been cleared but the two larger slides may not be clear until Sunday. Alternate route is Highway 3A to the Kootenay Lake Ferry. Expect delays as the morning comes.
