Construction Highway 1 Both directions – Road will be closed both directions in Yoho National Park, 16 km west of Field, at 7:00 PM MT daily from April 25 to April 28, for rock blasting. Expect delays of 60 to 90 minutes. Reduced speed zone in effect. Be prepared to stop, obey all signs and traffic control personnel, and watch for hauling truck traffic. Rock Scaling Highway 1 Both directions – Rock slope re-profiling in Yoho National Park, 16 km west of Field, 24 hours per day/7 days per week until June 30. Expect intermittent delays of up to 20 minutes. Longer closures of up to 60 minutes for rock blasting will be posted in advance. Reduced speed zone in effect. Be prepared to stop.
