UPDATED: TRAIL BC MAN CHARGED WITH CHILD LURING

Scott Hutcheson a 45 year old Trail BC man has been released on bail…

Sheldon Scott Hutcheson (Scott Hutcheson) was arrested for a second time for breach of conditions say Trail RCMP.

Hutcheson made contact with an alleged victim and breached a condition of his first arrest back on Feb. 25 and was arrested April 12 and remained in custody until his release Tuesday.

Hutcheson is not to attend any place frequented by persons under the age of 16, unless approved by his bail supervisor, and he must carry a copy of that approval, Hutcheson is not allowed to have any functioning Internet connection.

Hutcheson was charged mid-February following an investigation by the Greater Trail detachment, the Crime Reduction Unit and the Kootenay Boundary GIS. His first arrest was for “communicate via computer to lure child under 16” and conditions of his release at that time was he was not to be around children under 16 unless he was in the company of another adult (defined as 30 years or older).

All of Hutcheson’s computer equipment has been seized and will be sent off for forensic analysis.

His next court appearance is May 4 in Rossland Provincial Court.
