New Non-Profit Farm Sanctuary Opens in Winlaw BC

A farm sanctuary in the Slocan Valley just opened for rescuing abused and neglected farm animals.

The sanctuary is run by Ernest and Patricia Smuga along with their 3 children. The farm provides a forever home to rescued animals from various situations and backgrounds, as well as advocating and providing education about farm animals and the factory farming industry.

They are currently fundraising to build a new barn and be able to take in more animals that are waiting for a loving home. Donations in the form of money can be made directly to the farm fund https://www.gofundme.com/cici-life-farm-sanctuary/ , farming equipment or services can be arranged via the email contact on the website and monthly sponsors are much needed and appreciated to help with vet and feed costs http://cici.life/index.php/family-memberships/ Visiting tours will open sometime this summer!
