Cranbrook RCMP Arrest Suspect at Scene of Break and Enter

Cranbrook RCMP have one man in custody after a break in to a business in the 600 block of Patterson St W.

(RCMP) On June 11th Cranbrook RCMP were called to an alarm at a business on Patterson St W.  RCMP arrived immediately on scene and began to check the building.  RCMP located a male in the back of the compound behind a trailer in a fenced off area.  The male was crouched in the corner wearing black clothing with his face covered.  The security bars had been removed from the trailer, the screen was off and the window was open.  The male was arrested and taken to Cranbrook Cells.

Clifford Robert DRANCHUK, a 36 year old from Osoyoos, has been charged with Break and Enter, Possession of Break in Instruments and Disguising Face with Intent to Commit Break and Enter.  He remains in custody at this time.
