Golden-Field RCMP hosted their 32nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament

On June 5th, 2017 the Golden-Field RCMP hosted their 32nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Golden Golf Club.

Each year Trans Canada East Traffic Services in Golden spear heads the organizing of this event to raise money for local high school bursaries and other local charities. The tournament sponsors $3500 in bursaries which are granted annually to local high school graduates. In addition, last year the Golden-Field RCMP were able to donate $5000 to the Golden Hospital to fund much needed equipment. This year was yet another successful event with sunshine and warm weather greeting the 81 golfers who attended. The Golden-Field RCMP and Trans Canada East Traffic Services hope to continue hosting this event in the years to come. Below are photos of the main organizers and their team mates. Sgt. Rob HANEY, Cst. Amber BRUNNER and Cst. Colleen LOWING of Trans Canada East Traffic Services and Cpl. Michael JACOBSON of SECARS with the assistance of Sharon PEARSON organized the event this year.
